Mads Løkkegaard

After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music (Aarhus) in 2002, Mads moved to Copenhagen and since then he has spent most of his time touring, playing, recording and writing music with artists such as Julie Berthelsen, Sanne Salomonsen, Peter Belli, Sko/Torp, Søren Bregendal (former C21), Juncker, Ivan Pedersen, Mads Langer, James Sampson and many more.

His skills as a guitarplayer and singer has made him wanted as a sideman in both live and recording-sessions, as well as in housebands on different TV-shows (”Scenen er din”, ”X-factor” February 2008, and many more.)

His live-experience also comes to an expression in his writing. Mads wants a song to be playable and hit-single potential, even before going into the recording-studio. An acoustic guitar and a good hookline ought too be enough!!
