Boe Larsen

In 1998, after finishing his music education, pianist Boe Larsen moved to Copenhagen with his band Jonz, who was then signed to Sony. The album "Where it's at", which Boe wrote half of was produced by Pete Smith, and Boe's song "Sleeping" went #1 on the danish radios. 

In 2000, Boe bought the 400m2 studio, former Werner Studios, in Copenhagen and named it MillFactory.

That was the kick off to Boe as a producer, and since then he's worked with Hanne Boel (EMI), MLTR (EMI), MariaLucia (Metronome), Søren Sko (Noiz Music), EyeQ (EMI), James Sampson (Sony), Johnny Logan (Sony), Johnny De Luxe (CphRec), Simone (CMC). 

Song highlights...

2 songs out on the album "Unico" with danish rock diva Sanne Salomonsen. The tracks are: "Overgi'r mig langsomt til dig" (co-written with Mads Langer & Morten Woods) & "6. sans" (co-written with Thomas Andersson & Marcus Winther John). Currently on the top of the danish charts.

The title-track "Kortslutning" from debut artist Celina Ree, that Boe co-wrote with Jonas Krag and Lise Cabble was raving all over Denmark in 2009. Peaks: - #1 for 2 weeks at the Boogie chart on national DR-TV.

- #1 on Yousee (TDC) Play. 
- #7 on iTunes, DK. 

The title-track "De knuste hjerters klub" out now with Johnny De Luxe. Co-written with Marcus Winther-John, Noam Halby & Jakob Glæsner.
On the series "Store Drømme" on TV2 2009, Boe co-wrote the songs 100%, Nu og her & Sætter dig Fri, produced them and 7 other songs.

An additional 2 songs ("Si' nu hvad du vil si'" & "Savner dig sindsygt") co-written also with Jonas Krag & Lise Cabble went on Celina's album. 

The song "Fly" with Anika Askman went into the national song contest finals of 2007. 

The song "Loosing my cool" out on latest album "Dreams do come true" on CMC-2006 by Simone.

The song "Tempted" on Maria Lucias album "That's just me" EMI-2004.
TV writer/producer credits includes 2900 Happiness, Endelig Fredag(DR/Blu) and Bluff (Blu/TV3). 

Coming up... 

- 1. single "Walking on fire" out 3rd of May with Anna (x-factor) written and produced by Boe Larsen & Pete Smith.
Album with songs and productions excusively by Smith/Larsen out end of May 2010.
- Boe has produced and co-written songs for the coming teenage movie "Min pinlige familie og dræber mutant sneglene" on Fine & Mellow. Producer: Stefan Fjeldmark (Terkel i Knibe). Out on DR1 summer 2010.  - Boe has produced the forthcoming album "The Nature of Love" by Johnny Logan.
