Swedish born multi-instrumentalist Lindstrand is a versatile composer, having written scores for bigbands, orchestras, ambient- and rockartists, to name a few. Born in 1974, Lindstrand experienced a defining musical curiosity that, early on, ensured him a well-rounded musical background and education, fueled by the Swedish jazz scene. In 1994 he relocated to Copenhagen to study at The Rhythmic Conservatory, from which he graduated in '98. A career as a sideman, recording, touring and writing string arrangements for various artists, ultimately led Henrik Lindstrand to join renowned Danish rockband Kashmir in 2000. More info on Kashmir here. After attending American filmcomposer Hummie Mann's masterclass in Copenhagen 2006, Lindstrand decided to explore filmmusic and filmscoring further, and was subsequently signed to Good Songs Publishing as a filmscore-writer that same year.

His first assignment was to pen the symphonic score for Anders Morgenthaler's feature film "Echo", which earned him a prestigious Robert-nomination for best Danish score in 2007.
Henrik Lindstrand has subsequently worked on a string of featurefilms, as well as tv- and commercial projects.
