Anders Hansen
GENERAL MANAGER
Anders has a marketing education and a lot of experience in artist development. Music has always been his life, which early on lead to the first DJ jobs, in the mid eighties bringing him to The Voice where he worked as DJ and programmer. Later he freelanced at DR P3 where he hosted the show "maskinen". In the early nineties Anders started in sales at PolyGram Records leading only 6 moths later to A&R where Anders learned by doing, working with artists such as Lis Sørensen, NHØP, Savage Affair and Monique. Anders signed various artists to PolyGram including Søren Sko, Freya, Clara Thomas, and Sunzet.
With the merger of Universal and PolyGram Anders changed to BMG where he stayed for 1 1/2 year A&R'ing major Danish artists such as Caroline Henderson and Søs Fenger.
In 2000 Anders accepted the job as Head Of Local (A&R, marketing and promotion) at Sony Music Denmark and for the next 3 1/2 years he was responsible for all local releases with artist such as CV Jørgensen, Kashmir, Erann DD, Caroline Henderson, S.O.A.P., Mukupa, The Collins, The Breakers, Johnny Logan, Søren krag-Jacobsen, James Sampson, Zindy & Kuku etc.
In early 2004 Anders wanted to challenge himself and was one of 3 judges in the Pop Idols show in Denmark. During 2004 Anders was music consultant for BLU Productions - a Freemantle production company responsible for Pop Idols, Star For An Evening, Star Search and other entertainment formats. Anders is still music consulting Blu on various TV formats.
