Regina Lund

Regina Charlotta Lund was born in Vasa, Finland by Swedish parents; Theatre Director ChristianLund and dancer, actress Sonja Lund. From the age of two Regina was brought up by her fathers parents; lawyer Wiggo Lund and library worker Brita Lund in Gävle, Sweden. Regina Lund has released three solo albums in English with her own lyrics and music (Unique, 1997; Year Zero, 2000; Everybody’s Darling, 2004). In January 2006 she made her debut as a poet when her book ‘Förlåt. Nej jag menar, aj.’ was released. She has played in well known plays and musicals such like Greta Garbo in the musical ‘GG’, Sugarin ‘Some like it hot’, ‘Victor/Victoria’, Lola in ‘Blue Angel’, Jelena in ‘Uncle Wanja’, Miss Fountaine in‘The Censor’, Abigail in the ‘Crucible’, Ofelia in ‘Hamlet’. On TV the Swedes loved her playing Tuula the mistress of Ivar Kreuger in ‘Ivar Kreuger’, Mona in the hit show ‘Rederiet’ and in ‘Solisterna’ as Chalotte Dahl. But she has also done underground performances and some independent films andpoetry readings at small places across Europe, absolutely unannounced.Regina Lund is a superstar in Sweden. The press, her fans and audience follow her every step. At the moment Regina is working hard on various film projects as well as continuously writing newpoems and lyrics and participating in various music projects with international musicians and of course her solo projects.
